FLORAL DECORATIONS.

Arrangements will be made with local florists for the supply and replenishment of floral de- corations on Exhibitors' stands. Communications should be sent to the Organisers.

HIRE OF FURNITURE.

If Furniture is required for stands, it may be hired from local furniture dealers. Com- munications should be sent to the Organisers.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY.

All current is supplied by the China Light and Power Co., Ltd., and the Organisers are responsible for all main wires being connected with the stalls. The installation required in each stand must be carried out for Exhibitors by the Power Co.'s contractors, a list of whom will be supplied by the Organisers on application.

INSURANCE.

Every Exhibitor should take such steps as may be necessary to protect himself against loss or damage of or to his exhibits, or any other property, arising from fire or any other cause whatever. In this connection attention is called to the fact that Exhibitors are also liable for injury or accident caused or occasioned by any articles exhibited by them. It must be clearly understood that the Organisers assume no responsibility whatever for any losses which may be incurred by Exhibitors, and each Exhibitor should satisfy himself that his policy and the condi- tions thereof, fully cover him.

On application the Organisers will supply the names of Insurance Companies in Hongkong with whom the Exhibitors can get in touch.

FIRE PRECAUTIONS.

It is most important that Exhibitors should be in a position to extinguish any small out- break of fire that may occur on their stands with the minimum of damage to their exhibits and those of their neighbours. Arrangements will be made to supply hand extinguishers on each stand at a nominal cost, and each Exhibitor should see that the attendants at their stalls are acquainted with its use, and are also aware of the nearest fire alarm in the building.

At the conclusion of the Trade Fair the fire extinguishers must be left in good condition on the Exhibitors' stands.

STAND CLEANING.

The Organisers have made arrangements with a local firm to undertake the cleaning of all stalls, and casual labour can not be employed on this work. Cleaners will be provided with a pass to enter the Fair, and Exhibitors desiring to make use of the services of this firm are re- quested to apply to the Organisers.

METERS AND ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS.

The charge for current consumed on the stands will be based on meter readings which will be taken at the opening and closing of the Fair. The Meters will be supplied by the China Light and Power Co., who require a deposit covering the charge for such meter, and for the approximate amount of current likely to be consumed. It is important for Exhibitors that they shall note the readings of meters at their installation and before they are removed.

Exhibitors are responsible for the safe custody of the meters and for their surrender in good condition at the close of the Fair, and will be required to bear the cost of any damage.

Exhibitors should switch off the current on their stands each evening at closing time to prevent wastage, otherwise the current will be registered against the Exhibitor. PHOTOGRAPHERS.

Arrangements will be made for official photographers to be appointed to the Fair. Ex- hibitors requiring photographs of their stands or exhibits can obtain an order of admission for these photographers on application to the Organisers. The use of flashlight is prohibited during the hours the Exhibition is open to the public, and may be used during other hours only if the Exhibitor is present.

BULKY EXHIBITS.

In view of the congestion that will exist as the time for the opening of the Trade Fair approaches, Exhibitors who wish to have heavy or bulky exhibits on their stands are requested to arrange early shipment of same. The names of suitable firms for handling these, or other exhibits, will be sent on application to the Organisers.

REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS.

No exhibits shall be removed until the Fair has terminated.

All exhibits, draperies or decorations, and display fittings which are the property of the Exhibitor or his contractor, must be removed from the grounds of the Fair before noon on the following Saturday. After that date any property of an Exhibitor or his contractor may be re- moved or stored, or in the event of goods being packed, despatched by the Organisers at such Exhibitor's risk and expense.

TRAVEL IN CHINA.

If Exhibitors wish to visit any part of China after the Trade Fair closes, the Organisers will do everything possible to facilitate them. In such case application should be made in good time, stating as fully as possible where it is desired to travel, and what (if any) industry or factory it is particularly desired to visit. The Organisers' interest in this matter is solely to render service to Exhibitors, and they cannot guarantee success in arranging such tours, or accept any responsibility whatever.
